MAGIC
by Leanne Sutcliffe

Jon looked around the room impatiently..hell, it was supposed to be their time..time to be together, to be able to head upstairs and shut out the rest of the world, but no...here they were, putting business before pleasure...stuck hosting a record company party when all he really wanted was for them to be alone, together.

A curly blonde head entered his field of vision and Dave Bryan broke into the conversation. "Sorry, gentlemen." the pianist grinned. "But I need to talk to the boss for a minute."

He grabbed Jon's arm and steered him to the doorway.

"I've been sent to rescue you," he laughed. "And to pass on a message...'Get your butt upstairs...now!!!'.'

"You mean...?"

"Yep...already up there, and waiting impatiently!" Dave told him.

Jon grinned and raced up the stairs to his room. He entered, smiling in anticipation....

"About time you got here!" Richie grinned, handing him a guitar.

"All ready to make magic?"
